summer sun at moonlight

Her sundress tightly grasp in her left hand
Sand crabs filter through her right
The sun streams between locks of gorgeous red hair
her smile shines brighter than the summer sun
The shoreline in graced with her laughter, her beauty
And I am blessed with her love.

DRAFT / Worthless without HIM / DRAFT

I sing your praises
yet I am not worthy
I sing of your majesty, a pauper am I.

chorus:
Your grace it amazes
Your glory abounds

My GOD you are faithful
yet I disappoint you

Your grace it amazes
Your glory abounds

As I find it in me
I know Holy Spirit
the work that you have for me, is heaven sent.
My hands you have guided, my feet you have shod.
Though just a pauper, I'll beyond

Your grace it amazes
Your glory abounds
I sing of your majesty, a pauper am I.

Nothing is done Lord
that you've not ordained
paupers to priesthood
your kingdom is gained

Your grace it amazes
Your glory abounds
I sing of your majesty, a pauper am I.

YES! you have saved me
and moulded creation
I'm welcomed to priesthood
you've chosen me

Your grace it amazes
Your glory abounds
I sing of your majesty, a pauper was I.

Not me, AFRICA, HA!

To Kenya I go
to follow GOD'S plan
Have I really grown,
Am I really that man?
The natives are restless
craving their booze
bring them to Jesus
addictions to loose.
The choice is their's
has always been,
present them the tools
lift them as men.
Villages large
villages small
I've gone to Kenya
to answer HIS call.

Extra measure of peace please

Emotion
my heart
my soul
GOD, you are so real,
Why should I cry?
Tears of happiness
joy
anticipation.
Anxious to learn,
to share
LORD, grant me your peace

Way BIG, that's how big

How big is your world GOD?
As the clouds wisp under our wings
the land peeks through the panes
allowing discovery of pastures
villages, souls like ours.
Shiny rooftops like diamonds in a store
water flows giving life to those unknown inhabitants
WOW GOD!
Your world is huge.

Terminal Observation

Hustle and bustle
traveling the terminal,
faces intent on connection, others oblivious to surroundings
Baggage checked, baggage carried
baggage lost, and the baggage of life.
Harried employees pushing wheelchairs,
pilots and attendents bantering good natured.
A child crys, ears bursting from pressure;
young hot pant clad teens flirting with skaters,
and whose the guy with the Krugerand pendant,
or the dude with the holy jeans?
Dressed to the nines or sporting Nikes
the treadmill continues to destinations unknown

By myself, but NOT ALONE

Yesterday I left on a journey;
leaving Missy to mind the home front.
I jouney not alone, but
in the hands of GOD.
She wakes today without me, so
I toil not by her side.
Yet she is here,
in my heart, my spirit,
and the deepest depths of my soul
